Want to work from home telemarketing does anyone know of a legitimate telemarketing job?

I'm a stay at home Mom and need some extra income.

Answer

work at home telemarketing? telemarketing is AWFUL- and so is doing surverys… although id rather have to convince people to take a survey than to buy some crap im selling. I've never heard of those as work from home jobs- the only phone-work from home jobs i know of are phone sex jobs….. otherwise only work from home crap i've heard of is like putting together sunglasses or whatever- or else doing those infomercial things like the ebay one or the SMS or whatever- where you make a website and resell their junk.

Answer

Question about work from home telemarketing?

If anyone does work from home telemarketing i would really appreciate info on how you got the job and what websites i could go to. Or if anyone knows someone that does this. I don't know where to look or where to apply

Answer

If you want to do telemarketing from home, make sure you know this fact
"Telemarketing in US is the 3rd most stressfull job in this world"

If you still wish to continue this is what you can do and not just telemarketing you can start building your career in one of the amazing and very HUGE industry!

Start telemarketing for mortgages because its the easiest thing you can do. Any mortgage company will easily hire you and will provide you to call at the list but remember, they will pay you only when you get some job done which means if you set an appointement for them or you generate a lead for them.

For example you start generating mortgage leads after a month or two of calling. Now you can slowly start learning the next step which is taking a complete mortgage application and then you can start taking online clases on how to become a loan officer, so this way you can be a loan officer and remember if you are a good telemarketer, you will be a good loan officer.

Now here are few things i want you to consider before you start anything!

~ Sometimes its very very very frustrating, when you see everybody saying "Fu** you" and hanging up on you.
~ You will have to take care of the Do not call list and make sure you dont' call the numbers listed on Do not call list, probably the mortgage company can get you DNC scrubbed list.
~ You need to be 100% enthusiastic on each and every call, which means there is no room if you feel "I am bit low and i will just make few calls"

Now if you are not interested in doing mortgage telemarketing, go for selling anything like Credit card, cell phones, B2B calling, surveys etc but then you will end up doing same job for years!

Take the mortgage thing seriously and is easy to start, if you like i can email you a good script to start and also get you list of rebuttals (Questions that might come up)

Thanks

Those work at home jobs, real, fake, scam, what?

I was up late one night and saw a infomercial about this internet job that you do at home and make a lot of money. What do think about them? Has anyone ever tried it out?

Answer

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies.

You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.

These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as "work at home" because they would hear from too many unqualified people

Looking for a reputable online work from home company or listing of companies?

I'm looking for a part time job to supplement my income. Interested in online work from home data entry type work. There are so many companies online that charge you to buy their starter package and what not. It's so hard to know who's legitimate and who's not and i'm not laying out money for a kit. Any suggestions? thanks

Answer

Please don’t listen to these people saying they are ALL SCAMS. They are not ALL scams, just MOST of them are, LOL. I am a single mom of 2 girls who has tried over 15 opportunities in the course of 2 years so I have some great information for you on how to find a LEGIT way to work from home plus a list of top 10 work at home scams!

People are looking for work from home and the biggest problem is they don’t understand that there really are NO WORK AT HOME JOBS. You will not find hourly pay from home. You can look forever, you’ll never find it. The only way to earn an income from home is to find a legit home business.

Small home businesses have increased in the last 5 years by about 200%? People are really starting to realize that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. The best home businesses to start are those with a proven plan in place like Avon or Mary Kay however if you are like me, you are not interested in pushing products.

Legitimate small home businesses should have a small costs involved but be careful, all the scams will be charging too so know the business. Talk to a REAL person and ask questions. Less than $500 to start is reasonable and I would stay away from those wanting $1000-$5000. If you are coming across places that say free then I would RUN don’t walk the other way! They never are in the end.

After trying 15 things I now work about 20-25 hours per week for a well known and respected company with amazing credentials. This company actually helps keep Americans Safe and Secure by offering Medical and Dental plans at affordable rates that anyone can afford. We also have SecureNet which helps Americans Protect their children in a program called National Child ID in partnership with the FBI. We also help Americans get back on top of their finances with Foreclosure Avoidance, Debt Relief, Credit Repair and more. We have over 10 programs ranging from $15 to only $40 a month per household which help Americans save many and stay safe. Americans have saved over 1 BILLION dollars with these plans.

I started with this company 2.5 years ago and started making $500 a month within only a few months. That income has increased now to over $3000 a month which has been a blessing for my family. The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit, life insurance and a benefits package from day one.

There are NO products, NO hard selling or pushing, NO cold calling, NO home parties and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me. I absolutely love working with them and I can't believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone even though you’re at home.

I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company’s credentials FAR SURPASSED any other home business I had ever seen. SOME of our NATIONAL partners and credentials are National Association of Dental Plans, Dunn and Bradstreet, Consumer Health Alliance, US Chamber of Commerce, Parent Magazine, US News and World Report, Dozens of Fortune 500 companies like Sears, Target, Walmart and Lenscrafters and Time Magazine. We are even currently being featured on WeTV, Lifetime and Oxygen. Most important, to solidify our legitimacy you’ll feel the utmost comfort in knowing that we are partnered with the FBI.

Research the company at www.workathomeplus.net.

No matter what you decide at least check it out, request a interview to get more information and at a MINIMUM read this list of top 10 work at home scams so you can protect yourself!

10. Craft Assembly
9. Medical Billing
8. Email/Rebate Processing
7. "A List of Companies Looking for Home workers!"
6. "Just pay for and take this class first” Then we’ll give or find you a job!
5. Envelope Stuffing
4. "Turn Your Computer Into a Money-Making Machine!"
3. Pyramid Schemes (this is NOT the same as Multi-Level Marketing MLM)
2. Chain Letters/Emails ("Make Money Fast")
1. Typing At Home / Data Entry (HUGE SCAM)

As for those of you who say…..”I want to work from home but I don’t want to have to pay for anything”. Well, that’s great! But it will never happen. Let’s be honest, there is no such thing as a free lunch. If it is a true honest home business you need to expect to pay. Mr. Walt Disney didn’t start the Disney empire “without paying for anything”. Neither did Mr. Sam Walton, owner of Wal-Mart.

What is the best way of earning money by working from home? any tips, advise or experiences would be good.?

Answer

I know a lot about this topic so please forgive the length of this reply. I have a lot of good info for you. I am a mother of two little girls who are actually tugging on my arm as I write this so I will try to be brief. Many people are looking for work from home companies. All the scams definitely create a big problem but also, there is a problem of people misunderstanding the difference between work from home "jobs" and work from home opportunities. There really are not work from home “jobs”. To get that you have to start working for a company in their offices first, then they MAY allow you to take the job home.

Most of the work from home opportunities that are legitimate offers are not an hourly pay type job. They are business opportunities that help you in starting your own business from your home.

What you should do first is to decide if you are simply looking for an hourly rate type job or if you are looking for more of an opportunity for additional income such as what you would make in your own business being your own boss from home. Many say a JOB stands for Just Over Broker and I have found that to be true as well. I never got anywhere working for others.

Small home businesses have some small costs involved, less then $100 to start is reasonable and I would stay away from those wanting $300, $500 even some asking for $1000-$5000. It doesn’t cost that much to start and run a home business so you shouldn’t pay it. The real ones will have a small monthly overhead as well. Should be around $50 a month but no more then $75. And everything should be included from your web sites to training and team support to back office accounting and booking. It’s ok to pay this overhead because it’s a business, they cost money. It’s not reasonable to assume you can run a business from home with a website and more for free so do keep that in mind as you search.

If you are coming across places that say free then I would RUN don’t walk the other way! They never are. I tried them many a times and 3 weeks later I had to buy this and 6 weeks later that. After 6 months these “free businesses” had cost me over $800 on average.

I’m a stay at home mom of two little girls as I mentioned, ages 1 and 3. I work about 15-18 hours per week for a National Medical Benefits Company. This is a home business, a nationally known and reputable home business which is what you need to make sure you are looking for. I have been with the company almost a year now and I make over $2000 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work, I have seen people make anywhere from $300 to over $3000. And your income will increase each month because we get paid residual income as well. If I continue on as I am going at the end of the year I will be making $5000 a month. My friend Becky from South Carolina started 2 years before me and she is now making $95,000 a year with this company.

The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit, life insurance and a benefits package most of which you get from day one. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling, no home parties and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me.

I absolutely love working with them and I can't believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone. You have great team support and you get to know the other people on your team pretty well. The support is great but I have made wonderful friends as well. I think that’s important too, especially being at home!

I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company is the number one National Medical Benefits Company in the US. They are a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association of Dental Plans and the owner of the company actually sits on the board of The Consumer Health Alliance to which we are also members. Also they were featured in “The New York Times”, “Wall Street Journal” “Time Magazine” and the “American Medical Review”. Even “60 Minutes” with Morley Safer did a big special on this home based business.

Even more then all this is they are accepted at over 100,000 retailers nation wide. These are fortune 500 companies like Sears, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-mart, Publix and more. These companies would never work with a company that was any thing less then reputable. That made me feel very good about working with them knowing they were accepted at these stores that I frequent. Also now of course being with them I get the dental and vision benefits for free and I saved over $150 on my last visit to the dentist! That’s just a beautiful perk! : - )

When I first started I just felt very safe with them, that and my friend was already making so much money with Ameriplan. But at this point I feel a sense of security financially that our family has never had before. That plus LOV

How can a Virtual Assistant/Secretary market their services to clients?

I am a Virtual Assistant/Secretary and I need advice on how I can build my list of clients. I am looking for a way to help individuals and companies realize the benefits of hiring a Virtual Assistant/Secretary over and in-office Assistant.

Answer

I would send out a snail mail flyer to small businesses in your area. Maybe ad a coupon, "10 hours for the price of 5".

I am considering the virtual assistant business, can it work if I live in Italy?

I recntly moved to Italy, got married and became a mom, I just found out about the business of virtual assistant. can it work uf I am overseas? and how do get started?

Answer

First consider your skills and how organized you are. Virtual assistants work from around the globe because their clients require their skills, not their presence in an office setting. Your skills, the time you have to work and organization will be the keys to succeeding.

Try the links below to find out more about the field and what it takes to make it with a VA business.

The last link is from an article in Entrepreneur about starting a business as a VA. It's from 2004 but will give you an idea of what's involved.

How do I become a Virtual Assistant?

Does anyone know how I could get started as a Virtual Assistant? I'm interested in starting off slow, and am in no rush to do this, but I would love to get started in this career path so by the time I have children (in about 2-3 years) I can possible work from home and do what I'm great at.

I excel at almost all and any administrative tasks, and have been in the field for almost 7 years. I support a line of managers currently and do almost every type of project and admin task you could think of, so I have a lot of experience.

Basically, I would like to know if there is a way to get on board with this type of job and not have to pay $3K for some 'certificate' since I already have the experience to back it up.

Ideas/Feedback/advice? Thanks!

Answer

I am also in the same field, just starting out also. I suggest just pick a couple of the administrative tasks you do really well and start with that., you can always add more services as your business grows. If your business does not have the necessary financial means at the moment, you can always get certified when it does at a later time. I did not get certified either since I do have 10 yrs. admin. experience myself.

Get yourself a website, even if it's just a simple one, get some business cards and NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK!! Maybe send some information to some local offices or some non-profit organizations, churches or you can also join your local chamber of commerce. I also suggest you get this book, Virtual Assistant the Series, by Dianna Ennen and Kelly Poelker. This book has helped me a lot in putting this business together step by step, gives you great information on what you are going to need and ideas on what services Virtual Assistants are offering.

I hope this helps, good luck.

How much does it cost to start a Virtual Assistant Business?

I am looking into starting a Virtual Assistant business from my own since I have a baby on the way and would like to be able to stay home to raise him or her. My question(s) are….How much does is cost to start a VA Business? What certain comp programs will I need?

Answer

You will need to equip a home office with all the things found in a typical office - computer, business phone with answering maching, fax machine, copier, etc.
You will also need to purchase the software for the computer such as MS Office Professional, bookkeeping software such as Peachtree or Quickbooks.
You will also need office supplies like ink, paper, etc.
Check online at OfficeMax or Staples for estimates of cost. I would check with Dell.com for computer costs as they sometimes include software or printers in their value bundles.
Good luck with your family and business.

How much would you pay for someone to be your virtual assistant?

You have to pay them 40 hours upfront. So how much would you pay to have a virtual assistant?

Answer

Over-the-internet-pay is tricky. Don't pay them, but instead do some stuff for them in return. Make sure their getting something out of it.

I need a Virtual Assistant where can i find cheapest assistant.?

Should be less then $5 per hour

Answer

where you live??? i have an offer for you, reply me and i will let you know,it is cheapest and gives assurance of both software and harddisk insurance too.

I want to submit a press release for my virtual assistant small business; what are some good sources?

I've already posted a press release to my local newspapers and have gotten contact information for the larger newspapers like the Washington Post, New York Times and Baltimore Sun. I am looking for things like trade magazines and community publications that other small business and home-based business owners read, since they are my target market. Any help is greatly apprecated.

Answer

Depending on your situation and budget, you could be better off using one of the services below. I have no affiliation or attachment to any of them.

Most if not all news agencies, media, and associated writes subscribe to Newswire type services. They rarely use Press Releases sent to them by individuals. There are too many reasons to cite here for their behavior, but it is the norm.

Individual contact and getting your release picked up is almost impossible unless you are an exceptional person pushing an exceptional cause or product

The time cost required to get all the media is enormous compared to paying one of these services $200 US $ and getting them to post it 'on the wire' where editors, reporters and other writers can pick it up. They all subscribe to the Newswire.

Getting free publicity by using Press Releases is recommended by a myriad of books in marketing, hence the press is contacted by countless others doing the same. To get the attention, you can use what celebrity agents do, they create something that is news worthy.

A media person will pick up your 'story', if you offer them something they can write or speak about. Look carefully and see what you can do to help them.

The sources of media contacts at the library are usually out-of-date, so look at the current publication of the outlet you want and it should have the contact info in one of the section. Usually this information is part of the editorial page.

Good Luck
